Getting back into the art scene. Heres the first piece I've done in a while.

The piece is called destroyed. It's about a women who obviously has been bruised. It's a really simple metaphor. Shes destroyed both inside and out. Probably from an abusive husband. The abuse is up to you, however. Enjoy :]

This is a brilliant piece, she is beautiful (depsite the hole in her neck :lol:) and you have done an exellent job superimposing your manipulation across the photograph...or vice versa, sometimes its hard to tell with you crafty manipulators ;)

well considering all the manipulation was done by me, then all of it? It's a photo manip, it was a photo, i manipped it.

what else do you think i could have done?

Give it some other background, work with the hair... It's a good manipulation, but I don't see too much difference to the original work.

...I just wanted to give you some input about the fact that there is way more that can be done to a photo than just textures and colour corrections :). Keep it in mind, you definitely have a sense for composition and such.
